智利是全球第四大葡萄酒出口国，以稳定供应高质量的葡萄酒产品享誉世界。智利境内有十八个葡萄酒产区，总长近一千五百公里。伊塔塔谷位于智利的尼布勒大区，距离首都圣地亚哥向南400公里，是智利南部三大葡萄酒产区中最靠北的一个，也是其中最广阔的葡萄种植区，葡萄种植面积超过1万公顷。11月20-21日，智利伊塔塔谷的五家酒庄在北京开展了大师班及商务洽谈活动，将该地区的百年历史遗产——葡萄酒的风味呈现给了专业大众。

Chile is the fourth largest wine exporting countries in the world, renowned for its stable supply of high-quality wine products. There are eighteen wine producing regions in Chile, with a total length of nearly 1500 kilometers. The Itata Valley is located in the Ñuble region of Chile, 400 kilometers south from the capital Santiago. It is the northernmost of the three major wine producing regions in southern Chile and is also the most extensive winegrowing area, with over 10,000  hectares of vineyards. 伊塔塔谷的酿酒传统源远流长，四百多年前，在根瘤蚜虫害爆发之前，西班牙殖民者就开始在山谷中种植农作物，这使得山谷独具特色。这里的葡萄树树龄超过百年，生长在潮湿的地中海气候中，由于靠近大海，平均气温比其他山谷低，因此葡萄成熟缓慢。夏季凉爽多风，冬季多雨，这里的土壤为沙质、颗粒状，富含矿物质。肥沃的土地使葡萄树能够结出丰硕的果实，芳香四溢，风味十足。并且该地区的水源充足，适合干式葡萄栽培，这里无需使用灌溉系统，避免了水资源的过渡消耗。这就是伊塔塔山谷的自然环境，山海相间，从沿海海岸到中间洼地，再到安第斯山脉，都造就了伊塔塔山谷葡萄酒的独特性，将其打磨成宝贵的物质和文化遗产。

The Itata Valley has a long tradition of winemaking, made unique by the Spanish colonizers who began planting crops in the valley more than four hundred years ago, before the outbreak of phylloxera. The vines are over a hundred years old and grow in a humid Mediterranean climate, where the proximity to the sea means that average temperatures are lower than in other valleys and therefore the grapes ripen slowly. With cool, windy summers and rainy winters, the soil here is sandy, granular and rich in minerals. The fertility of the soil enables the vines to produce fruit that is rich in aroma and flavor. The region is also well watered for dry viticulture, which eliminates the need for irrigation systems and avoids excessive water consumption. This is the natural environment of the Itata Valley, where the mountains and the sea, from the coastal shores to the intermediate depressions to the Andes, all contribute to the uniqueness of the wines of the Itata Valley, making them a valuable material and cultural heritage.

伊塔塔谷葡萄酒产区葡萄品种

说到伊塔塔山谷的特色葡萄品种，不得不提到在智利被视为传统品种的派斯（País)葡萄，它是16世纪中叶由西班牙人引进的。如今，这个作为伊塔塔葡萄酒遗产重要组成部分的葡萄品种正在经历复兴。莫斯卡特（Moscatel）是伊塔塔最具代表性的白葡萄品种，早在殖民地时期就来到了智利。如今，在雨水灌溉条件下的种植面积约为 3100 公顷，主要用于生产干型和甜型葡萄酒。同时，伊塔塔山谷还是原产于法国的神索（Cinsault）葡萄品种的大面积种植地，它为伊塔塔地区的旱地葡萄栽培和小规模生产者的工作带来了非凡的价值。所有这些葡萄品种，再加上塞米隆（Selillon)、科林托(Corinto）和佳丽酿（Carignan）等其他葡萄品种，都能酿造出高品质的葡萄酒，给最挑剔的味蕾带来惊喜。

When it comes to the characteristic grape varieties of the Itata Valley, it is important to mention the País grape, considered a traditional variety in Chile, which was introduced by the Spaniards in the middle of the 16th century. Today, this important part of Itata's wine heritage, is undergoing a renaissance. Moscatel, Itata's most emblematic white grape variety, arrived in Chile during the colonial period. Today, it is planted on approximately 3,100 hectares under rain-fed conditions, mainly for the production of dry and sweet wines. At the same time, the Itata Valley is also the site of extensive plantings of the Cinsault grape variety, originally from France, which brings exceptional value to dryland viticulture and the work of small-scale producers in the Itata region. All these grape varieties, together with others such as Selillon, Corinto and Carignan, produce high quality wines that will surprise the most discerning palate.

伊塔塔山谷的另一大特点是经过时代传承的小型家庭酒庄，这些酒庄尊重环境、自然和当地人文，这些都是该地区文化、历史和遗产的重要组成部分。今天的伊塔塔谷产区可以说是融合了传统技术与现代工艺的特点，在古老的葡萄园周围不断涌现出新兴葡萄园的身影，具有不断探索和发展的无穷潜力。正如知名葡萄酒大师蒂姆·阿特金（Tim Atkin）所说，智利葡萄酒令人兴奋、乐观并具有前瞻性，但这并不意味着它摒弃了传统。我喜欢伊塔塔、比奥比奥、玛乌莱等产区正在发生的一切，人们对老葡萄树的呵护越来越多，种植和酿造方法也在回归古典。”

The Itata Valley is also characterized by small, family-owned wineries that have been passed down through generations, respecting the environment, nature and the local people, all of which are an important part of the region's culture, history and heritage. Today's Itata Valley appellation can be characterized as a blend of traditional techniques and modern craftsmanship, with new vineyards popping up around the old ones, with endless potential to continue to explore and evolve. As renowned Master of Wine Tim Atkin says, Chilean wine is exciting, optimistic and forward-looking, but that doesn't mean it eschews tradition. I love what's happening in regions like Itata, Bío Bío, and Maule, where people are taking more and more care of the old vines, and planting and winemaking methods are returning to the classics." 

智利伊塔塔谷葡萄酒大师班及品酒会

11月20日下午，智利伊塔塔谷葡萄酒大师班及品酒会在北京举办，进口商、经销商、电商平台及KOL受邀参加了本次活动。现场五家酒庄分别介绍了伊塔塔山谷的历史、自然、地理、人文等情况，以及葡萄品种和出口情况。嘉宾们品尝了酒庄的特色酒款，并且现场与酒庄进行了商务洽谈。21日，酒庄代表们来到了中国酒业协会，与相关领导进行了交流，双方均表示希望加强合作，促进贸易往来及人文交流。会后，酒庄代表们还进行了商务考察，走访了酒类零售门店，了解中国市场的消费习惯和需求。

On the afternoon of November 20, the Itata Valley Wine Masterclass and Wine Tasting event was held in Beijing, where importers, distributors, e-commerce platforms and KOLs were invited to attend the event. Five wineries on site introduced the history, nature, geography and humanities of the Itata Valley, as well as grape varieties and exports. The guests tasted the special wines of the wineries and had business negotiations with the wineries on the spot. On the 21st, the representatives of the wineries came to the China Wine Industry Association and exchanged views with the relevant leaders, and both sides expressed their hope to strengthen cooperation and promote trade and humanistic exchanges. After the meeting, the winery representatives also made a business trip to visit wine retail stores to understand the consumption habits and needs of the Chinese market.

Currently, Itata Valley exports 1,653,000 bottles of wine to the world every year, with the main destination countries being the U.S., China, Brazil, France, Canada, etc., and has harvested many favorable comments.
